Nanny Screening Process
All Nannies are personally interviewed by us, at which point we will collate their profile, professional certificates and references.
Nannies are required to provide up to date references which will be thoroughly checked and if the referee consents, copies can be forwarded to you for the interview process. We also require sole charge Nannies to have a current 'Enhanced DBS Police Check' and a recognised First Aid certificate.
We would also advise and recommend Nannies joining the OFSTED voluntary register, but this is not obligatory.

Process of Employment
Once your registration form has been completed, we will arrange to have a telephone interview with you to determine your exact needs and requirements. We will then select from our extensive Nanny register, any Nannies who we feel would be your ideal match. Details of these Nannies, including references, will be forwarded to you, and interviews arranged for any you would like to meet with at a time and place convenient to you all.
We recommend interviewing once without your children, and then a second or a third time with your children, so they can meet each other as it is very important to gauge their interaction. Once you have made your decision we ask that you contact us so we can either give feedback to the Nanny or make an offer to the Nanny on your behalf.
This process will continue until you find your perfect Nanny.

Interview Guidelines for Parents
We recommend that for the initial interview between yourselves and the candidate, that your children are not present. However, we thoroughly recommend and encourage that your children meet with the prospective Nanny so that you can see how they interact with each other. This can either be done at the end of the interview, or at a second interview, depending on how you prefer the process to go.
Interviews normally take around an hour, but this may vary from interview to interview.
We would recommend that you plan in advance for the interview, with any information and questions you wish to be covered and have them at hand throughout. Take notes too on anything you feel relevant so you can look back over them once the interview is completed if you so wish.
